Fox Rent A Car in Tulsa, OK seeks an Assistant Controller to lead month-end close across four operating subsidiaries and shape the accuracy of financial reporting. You will mentor a team of 5–6 accountants and partner with tax, treasury, and operations to drive efficiency and compliant processes.

The role requires hands-on, detail-driven leadership with a strong GAAP background and multi-entity experience. CPA is a plus, hospitality or rental car industry background beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA designation a plus.
• Background in service, hospitality, or rental car industries is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements for multiple entities.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and proper external reporting.
• Mentor and develop an accounting team of 5–6 members.
• Perform month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy.
• Monitor financial and operational metrics and report to leadership.
• Collaborate with tax, treasury, and operations to improve processes and controls.
• Support external audits with schedules and auditor responses.
• Assist with treasury and cash management and banking relationships.
