Job summary

The role offers up to $130,000 plus bonus potential, with a fully onsite work setup. Ideal candidates have 6–8 years of accounting management experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 6–8 years accounting management experience.
• Manufacturing background strongly preferred.
• Experience leading full month-end close and reporting.
• CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
• Strong ERP/financial systems experience.
• Hands-on working manager in a lean team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting function and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounting function to ensure accurate and timely internal and external financial reporting
• Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for the organization
• Support the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors
• Provide financial analysis to support contract negotiations
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal tax and regulatory requirements
• Establish departmental goals, policies, and operating procedures for the finance function
• Participate in company-wide planning and policy discussions as a member of the leadership team
• Identify and implement process improvements based on audit findings and operational review
• Guide the organization's financial systems and technology strategy
• Mentor and develop a small team of accounting and finance professionals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 6-8 years of progressive, hands-on accounting management experience
• Manufacturing industry background strongly preferred
• Experience leading full month end close and financial reporting process
• CPA or CMA preferred, not required
• Strong systems and technology aptitude, with experience guiding ERP or financial systems initiatives
• Comfortable operating as a working manager in a small, lean team setting
• Demonstrated ability to partner directly with ownership and executive leadership
