Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm is seeking an Assistant Controller to manage intercompany entries, journal reconciliations, and prepare financial statements. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of management accounting experience in an industrial engineering or manufacturing environment. This role offers the chance to contribute to exciting projects, including those related to clean energy and space exploration, in Santa Ana, California.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management accounting experience within a publicly traded industrial engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with custom manufacturing and project accounting.

Responsibilities

• Make intercompany entries and eliminations.
• Review and approve journal entries and reconcile work of 7 Plant Controllers.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements within a 3-day window.
• Analyze financials for trends and perform flux analysis.
• Review percentage of completion revenue recognition calculations.
