TriSource Staffing Solutions is partnering with a growing real estate investment and operating company to find an Assistant Corporate Controller. This role reports to the VP of Accounting and leads corporate accounting with oversight of AP, Payroll, and Treasury.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience with 2–3+ years in people management, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3+ years managing staff.
• Hands-on experience with AP, Payroll, Treasury and financial reporting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills.
• Real estate and multi-entity consolidation experience preferred.
• CPA preferred, but not required; required to be considered for promotion to Controller.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close including consolidated statements for leadership and lenders.
• Oversee Accounts Payable: approvals, vendor payments, accruals, controls and process automation.
• Oversee multi-state payroll and partner with HR on benefits and hires/terminations.
• Support cash management, banking relationships, liquidity forecasting and covenant compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls and support the annual audit, tax, budgeting and forecasting.
• Coach and develop the AP, Payroll and Treasury staff.

The company is in growth mode, adding to its portfolio and building out its accounting function. This is a chance to help shape that team and grow into a Controller-level role.

You’ll report to the VP of Accounting and help lead corporate accounting, with direct oversight of Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Treasury.

What you’ll do:

• Help lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close, including consolidated financial statements for leadership and lenders
• Oversee Accounts Payable: approvals, vendor payments, accruals, controls and process automation
• Oversee multi-state payroll, partnering with HR on benefits, deductions, new hires and terminations
• Support cash management, banking relationships, liquidity forecasting and covenant compliance
• Strengthen internal controls and support the annual audit, tax, budgeting and forecasting
