Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Our client is a private equity firm. They seek an Assistant Controller to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Administrator to calculate the month-end net asset value
• Perform monthly allocation for investors of onshore and offshore funds
• Prepare and review quarterly financial statements and conduct annual audit
• Calculate management and incentive fees for the hedge fund/waterfall
• Complete and review valuations for private equity investments
• Prepare exhibits for the valuation committee by analyzing portfolio pricing
• Reconcile positions and cash balances and process subscriptions/redemptions
• Liaise with outside service providers domestically and internationally
• Utilize complicated SPV structures in multiple jurisdictions
• Support regulatory reporting (Form PF, AIFMD, etc.) and compliance process

Requirements

• 8+ years of fund accounting experience
• Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
• CPA strongly preferred
