Company Overview:

A New York-based asset management firm specializes in structured credit, managing a diverse portfolio across various structured products. They are seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee accounting and fund management functions for their structured credit funds.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the external third-party administrators for all accounting and fund management functions across a wide range of structured credit funds, including traditional hedge funds, private equity, interval fund, and hybrid products.
• Provide support for the CFO and Global Controller on monthly NAV closings, capital calls and distributions, management fee, incentive fee, and waterfall calculations, investor capital allocations, and investor statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors on year-end financial statement preparation and issuance.
• Assist with regulatory reporting initiatives such as Form PF and Form ADV.
• Provide ongoing support for investor inquiries and marketing materials for existing and upcoming fund launches.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• CPA required
• 6-10 years of experience, private fund experience required
• Experience with private credit, liquid credit (bonds/loans), structured products, and CLOs highly preferred
• Strong Excel skills

Compensation:

Salary: $150,000 – $175,000, Plus Bonus
