Our client is seeking an Assistant Controller to manage their in-depth General Ledger Month-End Close, Financial Statement Analysis, and Budget/Forecasting. SAP and Deltek Vision are currently used for month-end. Candidates with at least 10+ years of experience, with at least 5yrs managing an Accounting Team are needed. The client is located near Fairfield, NJ and they are extending a Hybrid Work schedule to its employees. Candidates with their MBA or CPA are highly preferred. Assistant Controller
Salary: approx. $140-165k + Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Manage a heavy GL Month end close
• Perform Financial Statement Analysis
• Manage Monthly & Qtrly Budget and Forecasting
• Approve Journal Entries, Accruals, and Fixed Assets
• Report Project Costs and Revenue Recognition
• Assists in Annual Audit and Tax Filings

Skills Needed:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA's or MBA's preferred
• At least 10+yrs of Accounting experience
• At least 5+yrs of Management experience
• Professional or Environmental Services background
• SAP and/or Deltek Vision experience, preferred
