Job summary

Leoforce in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to own the close, review the GL, and lead the accounting staff across AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets. This high-visibility role offers direct access to the Controller and CFO and a clear path to the top finance seat.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in progressive accounting with people leadership, a background in energy/oil & gas or manufacturing, strong cost and inventory knowledge, and CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run month-end close and year-end close and review financial statements.
• Oversee accounting staff across AP, AR, payroll and fixed assets.
• Review the GL, reconciliations and cost accounting.
• Support audit, tax and lender reporting.
• Lead ERP implementations, migrations and workflow automation.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Prepare analysis for Controller and CFO on cost, pricing and capital decisions.

What you bring
