Job description

We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our team immediately. This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects here in the Greater Indianapolis/ Central Indiana area that include commercial, industrial, K-12, and recreational projects. Projects can range up to $10 million+ depending on the overall need. You will assist the on-site Superintendent with paperwork, technology, and general duties on an active construction site.

The successful candidate will be very tech-savvy, ready to move from project to project as needed, contribute to larger projects, and gain valuable field experience. This position is 100% in the field and is ideal for candidates aspiring to become Project Managers, Superintendents, or Estimators.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the on-site Superintendent with daily paperwork and documentation.
• Utilize technology to streamline project management and communication.
• Perform general assistant duties, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing correspondence.
• Support the team in various administrative tasks to ensure smooth project operations.
• Travel between project sites as needed, adapting to different project requirements.
• Engage in continuous learning and development to advance within the company.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.

Job Requirements

• College degree related to Construction Management or Construction Engineering, or relevant experience with technological proficiency.
• At least 1 year of experience reading blueprints for site plans.
• At least 1 year of experience working on construction sites.
• Proficient in Procore and Building Schedule Software.
