Job description

We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our team immediately. This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects in the Greater Indianapolis/Central Indiana area, including commercial, industrial, K-12, and recreational projects. Projects can range up to $10 million+ depending on the overall need. You will assist the on-site Superintendent with paperwork, technology, and general assistant duties on active construction sites.

The successful candidate will be tech-savvy, adaptable to moving between projects, contribute to larger projects, and gain valuable field experience. This position is 100% field-based and suitable for candidates aspiring to become Project Managers, Superintendents, or Estimators.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the on-site Superintendent with daily paperwork and documentation.
• Use technology to streamline project management and communication.
• Perform general assistant duties, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing correspondence.
• Support the team in administrative tasks to ensure smooth project operations.
• Travel between project sites as needed.
• Engage in continuous learning and development.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deadlines.

Job Requirements

• College degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering.
• Relevant experience and technological proficiency may substitute for a degree.
• At least 1 year of experience reading blueprints for site plans.

• Proficiency in Procore and Building Schedule Software.
