Job summary

Jefferson Lab is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist the Conventional Facilities Project Manager with daily management, coordination and successful completion of capital projects. You will help meet time, cost, safety and quality objectives and support planning, design, construction and startup activities.

The role requires four+ years in complex project management, strong stakeholder collaboration, and proficiency with scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field such as Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
• 4+ years of experience managing complex design and construction projects.
• DOE project management system experience preferred.
• Experience with EVMS or Primavera is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support conventional facilities capital project managers with daily management and coordination to meet time and cost objectives.
• Document project objectives, requirements and key performance parameters with stakeholders.
• Ensure safety, quality and scheduling meet project requirements and budgets.
• Monitor cost estimation, changes and contingency draw-downs across projects.
• Oversee contractor performance and enforce EH&S requirements.
