Job summary

Jefferson Lab is seeking a Manager, Project Controls to lead the Project Controls Group, ensuring DOE‑compliant cost/schedule management and EVMS across multiple laboratory projects. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, risk, and performance reporting, while mentoring analysts and collaborating with DOE stakeholders.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in project controls, EVMS, and federal reporting, with a focus on process improvements and strategic workforce planning.

Qualifications

• Requires leadership experience in project controls, EVMS implementation, and DOE/federal reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's preferred.
• Experience supervising project controls analysts and budget/cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a DOE compliant project controls framework (EVMS, cost/schedule reporting).
• Lead PCA team in budgeting, scheduling, EVMS compliance, risk, and reporting.
• Oversee project controls self-assessments and report findings to the PMO Director.
• Provide leadership for large, complex, federally funded projects with consistent controls.
• Develop and maintain project controls policies, templates, and workflows.
