Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to support projects from preconstruction through closeout in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves coordinating RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and cost tracking while collaborating with Project Managers and field teams.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in commercial construction project documentation, strong coordination skills, and familiarity with Procore or similar PM software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience assisting project managers on commercial construction projects.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, drawings, and schedules.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and engineers on commercial projects.
• Experience with subcontractor buyout, estimating support, and cost tracking.
• Experience using Procore or similar construction PM software.

Responsibilities

• Draft, submit, and track RFIs, submittals, COs, POs, and related docs.
• Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and distribute project information.
• Assist with schedules, milestones, and master construction schedule tracking.
• Participate in weekly project meetings and coordination sessions.
• Support subcontractor buyout, bid solicitation, and cost-tracking activities.
• Review drawings at 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100% stages.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs and estimating activities.
• Process subcontractor invoices and payment applications.
