Job summary

Municipal Pipe Tool Co. LLC is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to support municipal infrastructure projects across Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

The role involves coordinating pre-construction activities, bid preparation, document management, and field collaboration to ensure on-time project delivery. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of construction experience, with a bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CM, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction, utilities, or infrastructure preferred.
• Exposure to underground utilities, pipelines, or industrial projects is a plus.
• Candidates based in Iowa preferred; ND and SD may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-construction and estimating activities, including bid preparation and document management.
• Coordinate project setup and administration, maintain project files, schedules, and contracts.
• Assist with project execution, tracking budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, permits, invoices, and change orders.
• Serve as liaison between field teams, customers, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Provide reporting and operational support, ensuring accurate project records and cost tracking.
