Position Summary
The Assistant Construction Manager supports the Construction Manager with daily construction operations, occasionally supervising solar projects, coordinating with Solar Technicians on safety and operational tasks, and working with the Procurement team to manage warehouse stock and organization.

- Customer Care and Product Quality. Maintain high customer satisfaction by managing complaints effectively and ensuring service, warranty issues, and new opportunities meet Tiger Solar’s standards for a world-class customer experience.
- Site Superintendent. Occasionally act as a Site Superintendent, handling duties such as daily logs, coordinating with Project and Construction Managers for materials, tools, and labor needs.
- Coaching. Provide regular feedback to construction personnel on attitude, professionalism, and adherence to Tiger Way!
- Construction Safety. Ensure all construction personnel practice safe work habits per OSHA, NFPA, local codes, and Tiger Solar’s safety policies. Responsibilities include safety inspections, PPE audits, safety talks, and safety documentation uploads.
- Residential/Commercial Project Planning. Assist with project setup meetings, updates, customer expectations, and daily scheduling. Coordinate with subcontractors as needed.
- Intra-company Coordination. Support coordination between Sales, Design, Procurement, and Permitting to ensure materials are ordered, permits submitted, and pre-construction inspections performed.
- Warehouse Inventory and Organization. Manage inventory, shipments, and materials, lead warehouse cleaning, and maintain organization.
- Vehicle Maintenance. Schedule maintenance, facilitate repairs, and ensure vehicle inspections are completed.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or related field preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
- Strong team-building skills with a positive, "can-do" attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of safe workplace practices and procedures.
- Patient, professional, adaptable, and effective communicator with diverse individuals.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation skills, and ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

- Quick learner of new technologies and adaptable to evolving tech needs.
- Background checks and motor vehicle records review required per applicable laws.
