Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice in Miami, FL is seeking an Assistant Concessions Manager to partner with the Concessions Manager to lead and develop the team, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.

You will help hire and train staff, oversee day-to-day concessions operations, manage compliance, and support cash handling, inventory, and reporting while fostering a positive, safety-conscious work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience in the food service industry.
• Ability to obtain ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications.
• Proficient computer skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, and point-of-sale systems.

• Manage day-to-day operations of all concession locations under the guidance of the Concessions Manager.
• Assist with coordinating team members and nonprofit organizations to ensure effective collaboration and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to hiring and training new team members on company objectives, policies, and procedures to drive team performance and guest service.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations governing alcohol, food service, sanitation, payroll, financial protocols, and employment practices.
• Oversee cash handling and financial reporting, reconcile discrepancies, and support inventory management.

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for an Assistant Concessions Manager to join our team at Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida. As an Assistant Concessions Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with the Concessions Manager to lead and develop the team while ensuring smooth and successful operations. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $43,888 - $54,100 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. More about you

• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health regulations, and safety procedures, with the ability to obtain ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications


• Proficient computer skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and point-of-sale systems


• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills


• Capacity to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business levels
