Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the apartment community. You will handle rent processing, invoicing, deposits, and reporting using Yardi/OneSite.

The role requires 1-3 years in residence life or property management, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on-site with coordination with maintenance and leasing teams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent, processes payments, prepares daily deposits and reconciliations.
• Operates Yardi/OneSite and maintains data integrity.
• Reviews resident accounts to collect late fees and pursues delinquencies.
• Reviews and submits vendor invoices for payment.
• Follows eviction procedures and represents the community in court if required.
• Processes move-outs and handles deposits and lease cancellations.
• Addresses resident questions/requests to promote satisfaction.
• Acts as on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager.
• Supports leasing and marketing by greeting prospects and processing applications.
