Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the property.

The position covers reporting, resident service, rent collection, move-ins/outs, lease administration, and retention initiatives. Requirements include 6 months in property management and strong communication in a fast paced environment. Full-time role with an hourly rate of $33–$35.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• The ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced working environment.
• Organization skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Use customer service and sales techniques to respond to resident requests.
• Collect all monies due and oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs by visiting units.
• Coordinate with outside counsel during eviction processes.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals files; enter data into PM software.
• Oversee renter’s insurance procedures.
• Collect deposits and process applications.
• Ensure model/apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
• Know lease terms, unit specs, availability, market conditions, and policies.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses.
• Conduct outreach marketing and shop surrounding properties.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
