GHP seeks an Assistant Community Manager for Canyon Country Villas in Canyon Country, CA. This full-time role supports the Community Manager to drive revenue growth, occupancy and resident engagement while upholding GHP’s culture.

You will lead improvements in service, marketing, leasing, and operations, while maintaining financial records, handling delinquencies, and ensuring high occupancy through effective leasing and community initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of multi-family property management experience in operations/resident services.
• Experience in bookkeeping preferred.
• 1 year of working knowledge using Yardi software.
• Sales and/or leasing experience.
• General office experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook required.
• Ability to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers and management.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all team members.
• Set service excellence standard and inspire the teams to achieve it.
• Promote regular communication and transparency within the Community.
• Manage Move-In and Move-Out experience and resident engagement.
• Own the employee experience and drive employee satisfaction.
• Assist in marketing the apartment community via online ads, social media and outreach.
• Act as a sales representative for the community and handle inquiries.
• Compute, classify and record data to maintain financial records.
• Make daily bank deposits and maintain copies of checks.
• Assist with delinquencies and implement timely collection procedures.
• Assist in all phases of property operations.
• Design and implement resident retention programs.
• Know leasing techniques and sales methods.
• Maintain high occupancy through leasing activities and market awareness.
• Ensure model and target apartments are market-ready; communicate needs.
• Local travel may be required.
• May require driving a golf cart.
