Cascade Management, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Community Manager in Bend, Oregon. The role supports the Community Manager by coordinating operations for HUD/RD or Tax Credit properties, ensuring occupancy, handling applications, and enforcing policies.

Strong organizational and communication skills, plus a valid driver’s license, are essential. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED and one year related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
• Certificates: Valid Driver’s License and insurance.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, and to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math, compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Reasoning Ability: Problem-solving and interpretation of instructions.
• Physical Demands: Regularly lift up to 10 pounds and sit/stand as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager with HUD/RD or Tax Credit properties and occupancy goals.
• Oversee complex operations and maintain records and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and post required notices.
• Manage resident relations, including rental agreements, move-ins, and income verification.
• Collect rents, handle cash, and maintain financial records and deposits.
• Support budget development and offer recommendations for policy improvements.
• Maintain attendance, travel for training, and perform other duties as required.
