Job summary

The Michaels Organization is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support operations of a residential property. You will assist in leasing, budgeting, and administration under the Community Manager's supervision.

Responsibilities include resident recertifications, processing applications, showing units, and coordinating marketing and lease activities to keep the property competitive and compliant with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• One or more years' experience with residential real estate management.
• Tax Credit, Section 8 and/or Public Housing experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; two+ years of college preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and the ability to resolve conflicts professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform recertification interviews with residents and submit paperwork to corporate.
• Track rental inquiries and log all applications.
• Show vacant units and market property amenities.
• Assist Community Manager with budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, and collections.
• Coordinate messaging service and respond to resident inquiries.
• Assist with lease administration and related forms.
