Job summary

West Shore is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee leasing production at our Florida apartment community. Under supervision, you will drive occupancy, supervise leasing/maintenance staff, and administer leases while ensuring resident satisfaction.

You will analyze financials, participate in budgeting, manage vendor contracts, and coordinate move-ins/outs to minimize downtime and maximize NOI across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience managing leasing/marketing teams
• Understanding site leasing trends and traffic patterns
• Ability to review monthly financial statements and manage budgets

Responsibilities

• Maximize rental revenue by maintaining high occupancy and reducing vacancy loss
• Lead leasing/marketing and maintenance staff
• Oversee turnover process, inspections, and make-ready requirements
• Understand site leasing trends and product availability
• Monitor rents and fees in line with market changes
• Improve NOI through revenue controls and expense management
• Review monthly financial statements and oversee accounts payable
• Administer tenant leases and maintain good tenant relations
• Prepare annual budgets and report to owners monthly/quarterly
• Complete other tasks as directed
