Job summary

University Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily property operations at our Athens-area student housing community. You will assist the Community Manager with leasing oversight, staff supervision, marketing execution, financial coordination, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing standards.

You'll review lease applications, maintain Entrata data integrity, manage lease approvals and renewals, and participate in events and promotions to achieve leasing goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing, leadership, or property management.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to analyze occupancy and pricing trends.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Availability to work weekends and peak leasing seasons.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager in supervising leasing team.
• Review and approve lease applications per rental criteria.
• Ensure Entrata data integrity across traffic, leases, renewals, and work orders.
• Meet with Community Manager and Market Director regularly.
• Manage daily lease approvals and renewal updates.
• Maintain Marketing Calendar and campus outreach.
• Conduct monthly market surveys and pricing adjustments.
• Track leasing activity and roommate matching.
• Propose marketing strategies to reach leasing goals.
• Support move-in/move-out coordination and resident communications.
• Assist with invoices and expense submissions.
• Oversee social media and community communications.
• Provide customer service to residents, prospects, and vendors.
• Step in as Community Manager when needed.
