Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to grow into a leadership role in multifamily property management. You will assist the Community Manager with leasing, operations, and supervising the team while delivering excellent resident service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year leasing or property management experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and a solid knowledge of Fair Housing practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
• 1+ years experience in leasing, sales, or property management.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities with good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and customer service best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using property management systems.
• Reliable, flexible, and eager to make an impact; valid driver’s license and insurance; weekends possible.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Manager in leasing, operations, and team supervision
• Take full responsibility for the community in the manager's absence
• Process rent payments, invoices, and resident documentation
• Assist with resident retention efforts and event planning
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations
• Monitor property condition and make improvement recommendations
• Serve as a role model to peers and help maintain high operational standards
