Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations of our award-winning apartment communities. You’ll assist with leasing, resident relations, and financial tasks, working closely with the Community Manager to drive occupancy and service excellence.

Education includes a high school diploma or GED; two years property management experience preferred; CALP a plus.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Two years of property management experience preferred.
• Six months of assistant community manager experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• A CALP accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leasing & occupancy: support tours, respond to leads, guide prospects, ensure applications and renewals are accurate and on time, strive for occupancy goals, create and manage community social media content, keep office and common areas welcoming.
• Financial & administrative: oversee rent collection, check scanning, posting, monitor delinquencies, coordinate evictions as needed, conduct ledger reviews, assist with financial reporting for Community Manager and leadership.
• Leadership & team support: step in when Community Manager is absent, foster a positive work environment, prioritize tasks, respond to resident concerns with professionalism and empathy.
