Apartment Management Consultants is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community.

The role focuses on maintaining lease terms, managing reports, handling resident requests, and ensuring smooth move-ins/outs. A fast-paced environment requires professional communication and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• 6 months in property management.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Provide courteous responses to resident requests.
• Collect all monies due and oversee evictions/move-outs.
• Coordinate with outside legal counsel during eviction processes.
• Enter data into property management software and finalize move in/out files.
• Oversee renter’s insurance procedures and deposits.
• Process applications and ensure model apartments are ready for show.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, and policies.
• Coordinate with apartment locator services and local businesses for materials.
• Shop surrounding properties and conduct outreach marketing.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Report unusual circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
