Job summary

PEM is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in San Antonio, TX to support the Community Manager with daily operations, resident relations, and financial management. You will help the team ensure a thriving community and gain valuable property management experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with move-ins/outs and renewals, handling rent collection and financial reporting, and supervising on-site staff when needed. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Assist with move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals and resident retention.
• Handle rent collection, financial reporting and property compliance.
• Supervise on-site staff when needed and coordinate with Community Manager.
• Support marketing initiatives and maintain property records.
• Ensure adherence to Fair Housing laws and company policies.
• Knowledge of GAAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with move-ins/move-outs and lease renewals; support resident retention.
• Manage rent collection and prepare financial reports for the property.
• Serve as contact for residents and staff; oversee on-site staff when required.
• Support marketing efforts and keep property records organized and up to date.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and internal policies.
