IEC Property Services Corporation (IECPSC) is hiring an Assistant Community Manager for two apartment communities totaling 236 units in Union City, CA. This full-time role directs day-to-day operations, including maintenance staff and vendors, to meet property goals.

Responsibilities include leasing, rent collection, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with fair housing laws. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in multifamily management, strong communication, and proficiency with Yardi

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of two years of multi-family property management experience.
• Working knowledge of property management, California, and local laws.
• Strong Microsoft Office and property management software skills, Yardi Voyager experience a plus.
• Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to empathize with residents and staff while enforcing rules.

Aufgaben

• Market and lease available apartments in compliance with fair housing laws.
• Pre-lease units and manage a waiting list of prospective residents.
• Provide high level customer service and connect with residents.
• Collect and deposit rent, late fees, and deposits using Yardi Voyager.
• Market units daily on Craigslist and other marketing sites.
• Screen and qualify prospective residents.
• Prepare vacant units for rental and oversee renovations as needed.
• Enter data into Yardi Voyager daily (applications, leases, notices, work orders).
• Communicate status and strategies to Regional Manager for smooth operations.
• Maintain organized unit files with leases and communications.
• Bid and negotiate service contracts and manage vendors.
• Perform maintenance and oversee cleaning and grounds.
