Job summary

Rose Valley Management is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for our Tomball, TX community. You will assist the Community Manager in daily operations, ensure compliance with laws, and maintain a high standard of resident service.

You will help implement policies, manage leasing, marketing, and owner reporting, while upholding Fair Housing guidelines and delivering hospitality-driven experiences for residents.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A current and valid Driver’s License.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in property management or leasing.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with prospects, residents, vendors and staff.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and compliance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; AppFolio experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, processes and signs leases and rules.
  • Assists the CommunityManager with vendor invoices and accounts payable.
  • Rent collection, receipting, prepares deposits using our propertymanagement software.
  • Writes letters and prepares legal notices to residents.
  • Submits required reports and maintains records according to policies.
  • Provides documentation, consults with attorney, and participates in required legal proceedings such as eviction proceedings.
  • Assists Community Manager in preparation of weekly owner’s reports.
  • Assists with marketing and implementing marketing plans to achieve budgeted occupancy.
  • Excellent problem solving, listening, and deductive reasoning skills.
  • Ability to empathize with residents, while still enforcing community rules and policies.
  • Knowledgeable regarding property management, federal, state, and local laws.
  • Demonstrates ability to work effectively with common Microsoft software applications and property management software.
  • Full knowledge and responsibilities of the community; operates the property and residents within Fair Housing guidelines.

JOB SUMMARY

In this role, you’ll help deliver high-quality, hospitality-driven living experiences to our 252-unit Garden style community located in Tomball, Texas. As the Assistant Community Manager, you will assist the Community Manager in the overall operation, and the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a well-maintained Community. You will work with the Community Manager to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and federal, state, and local laws; maintains acceptable and supportive environment for all residents.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Working knowledge of AppFolio software strongly preferred.

A Rose Valley Management Assistant Community Manager is a pivotal key to our success at each property. In this role, you must relate well to people, exercise good judgement and discretion in dealing with residents, visitors, vendors and team members.
