Position Details

Position: Assistant Community Manager (Full Time, Non Exempt)

Compensation: Hourly Rate, plus Benefits and Bonus eligibility

Summary

As an Assistant Community Manager, you are primarily responsible for providing comprehensive support in all aspects of community operations, including sales, leasing, marketing, social media, inventory analysis, budgeting and reporting, property management, rent collection, customer service, maintenance, and administrative activities.

Responsibilities
  1. Achieve property occupancy goals.
  2. Ensure Lead Tracking Solutions follow-up steps and data entry are completed daily.
  3. Assist in giving leasing tours, answering leasing phone calls, and processing online inquiries.
  4. Respond courteously and efficiently to resident requests.
  5. Help design and implement resident retention programs, such as newsletters, referral programs, or social activities.
  6. Maintain inventory and order administrative supplies and equipment.
  7. Report, maintain, and submit all administrative forms, files, and reports timely.
  8. Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding residents or the property.
  9. Assist in lease audits and ensure compliance with regulations.
  10. Participate in interviewing, screening, and hiring of staff.
  11. Assist in training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions for team members.
  12. Seek educational opportunities for personal growth.
  13. Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of leasing techniques and sales for multifamily housing.
  2. Maintain professional customer service.
  3. Experience in multifamily housing and community relations preferred.
  4. Knowledge of Cardinal Group policies and community policies.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  6. Knowledge of Yardi / Entrata and Pop Card preferred.
  7. Available to work weekends.
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
  10. Embodies the Cardinal Culture and Core Values daily.

Work Environment

Physical Demands
