Job summary

Fairfield Residential in Plano, TX is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support property operations, drive resident satisfaction, and ensure financial accuracy. This role targets individuals with leasing and marketing experience in multifamily housing.

Responsibilities cover accounting tasks using Yardi, leasing activities to promote satisfaction, and collaboration with the team to mentor staff while maintaining fair housing compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience required.
• Experience in leadership and supervising a staff preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Accounting & Reporting: Collect and post rent, process invoices, and prepare financial reports.
• Complete bank deposits and account reconciliations; use Yardi for property accounting.
• Customer Service & Leasing: Lease apartments and promote resident satisfaction; respond to inquiries and resolve issues.
• Team Collaboration: Mentor leasing team and support Community Manager; ensure compliance with fair housing laws.
