Waypoint Management is growing! We are looking for top talent to create exceptional service stories for our residents. We have a career opportunity for an Assistant Community Manager to join our team of property professionals.

As the Assistant Community Manager, you will help provide referral-worthy living experiences. You should be professional, personable, and skilled in communication and customer service. A passion for people and a commitment to excellence are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operations Management: Support community operations, collaborate with the Community Manager and Regional Manager on leasing and performance initiatives, oversee leasing team and ensure compliance with housing regulations.
  2. Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain residents, build relationships, and stay informed about local market trends for pricing and occupancy management.
  3. Finance: Manage financial tasks including collections, occupancy reporting, delinquencies, and utility expenses. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  4. Administration: Maintain data integrity, update lease information, manage renewal processes, and oversee lease expiration and delinquency reports.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience or training, high school diploma or GED
  • Availability to work weekend shifts (every other week)
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Word, email, internet, and social media
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Knowledge of multifamily property management laws and practices, including Fair Housing, maintenance, leasing, rent collection, evictions, and software tools
  • Proficiency in Yard software
Pay Range:

$26 - $28 USD per hour
