Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Community Manager to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The Assistant Community Manager will assist the Community Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our community, ensuring a positive living experience for our residents.
- High school diploma/GED
- 1+ years experience in Property Management or similar role
- Working knowledge of property regulations
- Ability to understand financial and operational goals and implement processes to achieve goals
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Customer Service oriented
- Detail oriented
- Ability to lead and motivate others
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Basic Marketing knowledge
- Ability to learn technology (system and programs) quickly
- Flexible
- Resourceful
Responsibilities:
- Assist in leasing and marketing efforts to maintain high occupancy levels
- Respond to resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in planning and coordinating community events and activities
- Conduct property inspections and ensure maintenance issues are addressed promptly
- Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality services are provided
Skills:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Community Manager or similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of property management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Leasing:- Assist with oversight of leasing activities to achieve occupancy standards
Resident Relations:- Encourage positive resident relations
- Enforce property policies and procedures
- Generate necessary legal action, documents and process in accordance with State Law and Westland Real Estate Group’s guidelines
Maintenance:- Oversee maintenance and repairs
- Assure there are adequate market ready apartments
