Job summary

Wendover Management, LLC is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to join the on-site team. You will welcome residents, support leasing, plan events, and drive digital engagement while upholding Wendover’s standards of service and quality.

You will help with rent collection, reporting, and collaboration across departments, ensuring a safe, well‑maintained community aligned with our values and brand.

Qualifications

• Highschool or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CalP or CAM certification is a plus.
• Prior property management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead leasing and renewal activities to support occupancy and revenue goals.
• Maintain accurate leasing files and documentation for audits.
• Assist with rent collection and reporting of unit availability.
• Collaborate on events and resident engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate digital marketing, listings visuals, and messaging for occupancy and brand visibility.
• Coordinate with vendors and maintenance staff for work orders and clean unit turns.
• Process invoices and assist with budgeting and variance reporting.
• Provide professional, proactive service to residents, vendors, staff and ownership.

As anAssistant CommunityManagerat Wendover,you’llbe the front line of hospitality and service—welcoming new residents, supporting current ones, and helping the Community Manager bring our vision to life. From leasing and renewals to event planning and digital engagement,you’llensure that every interaction reflects the care and connection we value most. This role is a key part of the on-site team and works under the leadership of the Community Manager to ensure the communityoperatessmoothly, successfully, and in alignment withourWendovervalues andstandards.

Your Impact – In Partnership with the Community Manager

• Manage leasing and renewal activities to support occupancy and revenue goals

• Maintainaccurateleasing files, applications, and documentation to support audits and compliance

• Assistwith rent collection and track unit availability to ensureaccuratereporting

• Collaborate on the development and execution of community events and resident engagement activities

• Coordinate digital marketing efforts across Internet Listing Services (ILS) and social media platforms,optimizinglistings, visuals, and messaging to support occupancy and brand visibility.

• Coordinate with vendors and maintenance staff to ensuretimelywork orders and clean unit turns

• Process invoicestimelyandassistwith budget trackingand variance reporting

• Provide prompt,professionaland supportiveservice to residents, vendors, team members,auditorsand ownership

• Upholdour Wendoverstandards of quality, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction

• Collaborate with office staff on community projects or resident needs as requested

What You Bring

• Highschool or equivalent required;Bachelor’sdegree preferred

• Industry certifications such as CALP or CAM are a plus

• Prior experience in property managementrequired

• Solid understanding of leasing processesand(LITECHfor our affordable communities)compliance standards

• Demonstratedproficiencyin Microsoft Office andindustry‑specificproperty management and maintenance tracking systems, with the ability to accurately document,managedata,communicate efficiently, and supportdata‑drivendecision‑making

Working Conditions & Expectations

This is a full-time, on-site role with standard hours,weekend work, and occasional overtime as needed to support leasing traffic, resident events, or special community needs.This role is active and hands-on, requiring physical stamina, agility, and attention to detail to ensure a safe, well-maintained community.

• Frequent interaction with residents, teammates, vendors, and prospects in-person, by phone, and via email or text

• Position requires walking the property regularly, entering units, and supporting team members across the leasing office and community spaces

• May involve lifting marketing materials or light office supplies (up to 25 lbs.) Dress code is professional and consistent with Wendover’s polished, approachable brand

• Mustmaintainconfidentiality, discretion, and professionalismat all times

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally for errands or marketing drops may be occasionally required

Compensation includes base pay plus performance-based bonuses.
