Job summary

CCMC is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to join our team in Texas. You will support daily operations, uphold community standards, and coordinate with contractors and vendors to maintain the master-planned community.

You will engage with residents, assist with assessments, and participate in Design Review processes and committee activities. A CAM license is preferred for certain regions and a full-time schedule is required.

Qualifications

  • 2 or more years in an office environment, preferably in community management or similar experience.
  • 2-3 years of industry experience in a Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager role is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with excellent telephone etiquette.
  • A multi-tasker who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
  • Proficient computer skills in Windows environment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance with standard mileage reimbursement.
  • Full-time availability with occasional after-hours and weekends.
  • Pre-employment drug screen, driving record and background check required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Community Manager in daily operations and uphold community standards as required by governing documents, CCMC contract, and laws.
  • Conduct monthly inspections using online programs to track, document, and notify homeowners of compliance issues; ensure common-area safety and cleanliness.
  • Provide information, assistance, materials, and education to homeowners about HOA living and deed restrictions.
  • Provide oversight of projects directed by the Community Manager, acting as liaison to contractors and vendors.
  • Be the onsite point of contact for assessment collections and monitor payment arrangements.
  • Collaborate with collection attorneys and AR representatives related to collection of assessments.
  • Work with the Design Review Committee in the Design Review process.
  • Oversee site staff and grounds services teams.
  • Daily interaction with residents and committee volunteers.
  • Attend Board and Committee meetings.

What you’ll accomplish:
  • Support the Community Manager in the daily business operations and upholding the community standards as required by the governing documents, the CCMC management contract, and applicable laws
  • Conduct monthly inspections utilizing online programs to track, document and notify homeowners of compliance issues weekly, and ensure common area safety and cleanliness
  • Supply information, assistance, materials, and education to new and existing homeowners regarding the benefits of Association living and the impact of the Deed Restrictions
  • Provide oversight of projects as directed by the Community Manager, acting as liaison to service contractors and vendors
  • Be the onsite point of contact for assessment collections and is responsible for monitoring payment arrangements
  • Collaborate with collection attorneys and AR representatives as related to the collection of assessments
  • Work directly with the Design Review Committee in the performance of the Design Review process
  • Oversight of certain site staff and grounds services teams
  • Daily interaction with community residents and committee volunteers
  • Board and Committee meeting attendance
What we’re looking for:
  • Effective leadership, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
  • 2 or more years in an office environment, preferably in community management or similar experience
  • 2-3 years of industry experience in a Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager role is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must have excellent telephone etiquette, with a commitment to the highest customer service possible
  • A multi‑tasker who is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and a self‑starter
  • Proficient computer skills in Windows environment
  • Have a stable means of transportation, including a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance, standard mileage reimbursement is provided
  • Ability work a full‑time schedule with the capacity to occasionally work after hours and on weekends
  • All prospective employees must pass a pre‑employment drug screen, driving record and background check
  • CAM license preferred (Required in Florida, Georgia and Nevada within 90 days of hire)

If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.

The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:

  • Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
  • Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
  • Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)
