Madison Reed Hair Color Bar in Sunnyvale, CA seeks an Assistant Colorist to support licensed colorists and the shift lead while learning the services and progressing toward becoming a Licensed Colorist. You will learn consultations, color-related products, shampooing and blowouts, and participate in a busy guest-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license in the applying state.
• Entry-level customer service or retail experience; salon/beauty industry preferred.
• Effective communication and people skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Support licensed colorists and shift lead to deliver guest experiences.
• Assist in behind-the-chair services: shampooing, conditioning, styling and add-on services.
• Help drive sales through product recommendations, memberships, and services.
