Madison Reed Hair Color Bar seeks an Assistant Colorist to support Licensed Colorists and the Shift Lead, ensuring guest satisfaction and learning the services to advance your career. Expect to learn consultations, color theory, and behind-the-chair skills in a structured environment.

The role offers base hourly pay plus commissions and tips, with potential earnings range $28.50–$30.50 per hour. It can be full- or part-time, reporting to a Manager, with a clear path to promotion to Licensed

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• Entry level customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Support Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead to deliver guest experiences.
• Assist in finishing services, shampooing, conditioning, blowouts, styling and treatments.
• Contribute to achieving sales goals including retail, services and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory and secure company assets.
• Follow Madison Reed systems, policies and procedures.
