An established industry player is seeking an Assistant Women’s Swimming & Diving Coach to enhance the athletic and academic experience of student-athletes. This role involves recruitment, coaching, and program management within a competitive Division I environment. In keeping with this mission, the role of the Assistant Women’s Swimming & Diving Coach is to provide a quality varsity program that will challenge and develop the physical, mental and personal abilities of student-athletes of a Division I program.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist with the recruitment of student-athletes on a national and international level. - Assist with the management of recruiting database of potential recruits. - Develop and execute recruiting plan. - Plan and organize on-campus visits. - Assist in all aspects of coaching a nationally competitive Division I swimming & diving program, including thorough knowledge of the sport, coaching strategies and student-athlete development. - Assist in overall program planning and organization. - Travel with the team to away competitions and assist with the coordination of team travel. - Assist/coordinate social media platforms. - Assist with alumni events and development of Friends Group. - Other Administrative duties as assigned. Adhere to Ivy League and NCAA rules and regulations. Work within the framework of the Department of Athletics administration and coaches. Communicate effectively with students, faculty, administration, staff and alumni. Ability to uphold the commitment to the Department of Athletics mission and values of Education Through Athletics.
