Job Description:
Amherst College invites applications for the position of Assistant Diving Coach. The successful candidate will support Amherst’s commitment to a diverse community by contributing to a highly competitive NCAA Division III diving program.
The assistant coach will assist the head coach with practice planning, coaching, athlete development, daily operations, and administrative tasks related to the men’s and women’s diving teams. The role requires understanding the role of athletics in a rigorous academic environment, with responsibilities including night and weekend work, and overnight travel for competitions. The assistant coach will actively support a diverse workforce and foster an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment.
