Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; previous playing or coaching experience is required.
• Licenses/Certificates: A valid driver’s license is required or reliable transportation to off-site meetings and events.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a coach at the collegiate or professional level.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coaches with practice plans and instruction for Shot Put, Discus, Hammer, and Javelin.
• Develop competition-day strategies and scouting; recruit potential student-athletes.
• Evaluate competition sites and create scouting reports.
• Assist with home meet hosting, camps, and clinic operations.
• Support player communication and feedback; oversee equipment and social media management.
