Job summary

Pomona College in Claremont, CA seeks a part-time Assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s Track & Field – Throws. 15–20 hours weekly, $16.90 per hour, with no visa sponsorship. Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to off-site meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coaches with organization and implementation of practice plans for Throw events (Shot Put, Discus, Hammer, Javelin).
• Develop competition-day strategies and tactical planning.
• Assist with recruitment of potential student-athletes and scouting reports.
• Assist with home meet hosting duties, camps, and clinic operations.
• Support player communication and feedback and oversee team equipment.
