Job summary

Sweetgreen is looking for an Assistant Coach to lead and mentor a fast‑casual team, partnering with the Head Coach to drive operations and guest experiences. You’ll use data insights to optimize performance, coaching in peak times and ensuring brand standards across in-store and digital channels.

You will oversee scheduling, staffing, and training while maintaining food safety and high QA standards, with a focus on developing future leaders and delivering exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant management/supervisory role.
• Experience managing and developing 6+ team members per shift.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and partner with Head Coach on hiring, onboarding and training.
• Uphold food safety, cleanliness and equipment maintenance standards.
• Ensure a hospitable guest journey and brand-aligned experiences.
• Manage controllable costs, schedules, and shift planning using Ops Dashboard.
• Support daily operations and drive smooth execution.
