Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience coaching swimming or diving required.
• Ability to communicate and work with a diverse population.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations desirable.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Instructs and teaches athletes in fundamentals of diving, coaches technique and strategy for both the Men's and Women's Swim teams. Assists in selection of team members and recruiting activities in compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules and regulations. Assists the head coach in the coordination of administrative areas of program management including, but not limited to, scheduling of competitions and practices, travel plans, equipment. Monitors academic progress of student athletes; audits information from academic support services, ensures compliance with conference, NCAA, and University rules and regulations.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience coaching the sport of swimming required; ability to communicate and work with a diverse population required; knowledge and experience working with NCAA rules and regulations desired.
