Henry Ford Jackson Hospital in Michigan is seeking an Assistant Clinical Manager to oversee clinical and management duties within the department. Under supervision of the Director/Nurse Manager, this role also involves evaluating staff performance and participating in disciplinary actions as needed, promoting service excellence and teamwork
Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is a 412 bed, Level II Trauma, Magnet designated organization situated in South Central Michigan, perfectly surrounded by lush golf courses and beautiful lakes, conveniently 40 minutes west of Ann Arbor, 40 minutes south of Lansing, and 40 minutes east of Battle Creek.
Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role. This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department. The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department. Also the Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Two (2) years RN experience
Must meet or exceed customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS’ Customer Service Policy: Communication, Ownership, Understanding, Motivation, Sensitivity, Excellence, Teamwork, Respect
Must practice the customer skills as provided through on-going training and in-services
