Job summary

Henry Ford Jackson Hospital in Michigan is seeking an Assistant Clinical Manager to oversee clinical and management duties within the department. You will plan, organize, and direct patient care services while assisting in budgets, QI programs, staffing, regulatory compliance, and policy development.

Under supervision of the Director/Nurse Manager, this role also involves evaluating staff performance and participating in disciplinary actions as needed, promoting service excellence and teamwork

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Two (2) years RN experience required.
• Must meet HFHS Customer Service Policy expectations: Communication, Ownership, Understanding, Motivation, Sensitivity, Excellence, Teamwork, Respect.
• Must practice customer service skills from ongoing training/in-services.
• Demonstrates self-direction, flexibility, teamwork, initiative, and openness to learning.

Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is a 412 bed, Level II Trauma, Magnet designated organization situated in South Central Michigan, perfectly surrounded by lush golf courses and beautiful lakes, conveniently 40 minutes west of Ann Arbor, 40 minutes south of Lansing, and 40 minutes east of Battle Creek.

Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role. This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department. The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department. Also the Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
