Job summary

Henry Ford Health's Jackson Hospital is seeking a Clinical Unit Leader to oversee the Emergency Department, providing shift supervision, clinical liaison with staff, physicians, and management, and ensuring patient care standards.

You will recruit, orient, coach, evaluate staff, and lead quality and accreditation initiatives while fostering teamwork and exceptional customer service. Flexible scheduling options support leadership in a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma unit.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with the expectation of obtaining a BSN within five years.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in an acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as shift supervisor and clinical liaison with staff, physicians, and management.
• Assist with hiring, orientation, monitoring and evaluating performance.
• Foster a positive, patient-centered culture and ensure quality standards.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and staff development.
