Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking an Assistant Clinical Manager for Emergency PRN. This role blends clinical oversight with department leadership to ensure safe, efficient patient care across shifts.
Under the Director/Nurse Manager, you will plan and direct patient care services, assist in budget and quality initiatives, and support staffing and regulatory compliance. A BSN and active Michigan RN license are required, with ACLS/BCLS credentials and ED leadership experience preferred.

Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role. This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department. The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department. Also the Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES:
Certifications appropriate for specific unit.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
3 years of emergency department experience preferred.
1 year of leadership or like experience.
