Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Civil Engineer in Pleasanton, CA. The role involves land development and public infrastructure projects, with a focus on hydrology and stormwater modeling.

The successful candidate will hold a CA-ABET degree, ideally be a licensed PE in California, and have strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills along with good communication and teamwork abilities. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• A BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university is required.
• California Professional Engineer registration is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum 4 years of land development and/or public infrastructure design experience in California.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology/hydraulics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work under senior staff on land development and public infrastructure projects.
• Supervise junior staff and assist with project coordination.
• Perform AutoCAD Civil 3D design and drafting, grading, and earthwork.
• Carry out hydrology and hydraulics calculations and coordinate with public agencies.
