Job summary

Beck's Montessori Accelerated Learning Center in Eagan is seeking an Assistant/Floater Teacher to support Infant and Preschool classrooms. MN ECE Assistant Teacher qualification and licensed classroom experience are required; Montessori experience is preferred.

This is a full-time, on-site role with a Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm shift. Compensation ranges from $17–$19 per hour, based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Requires MN ECE Assistant Teacher qualification.
• Experience in a licensed classroom setting.
• Montessori experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in all aspects of the development and implementation of the educational environment and curriculum.
• Develops positive relationships with children and families.
• Participates in professional development activities designated by the Director.
• Maintains a neat, clean, well-organized, and attractive prepared environment consistent with Montessori pedagogy.Ensures that the classroom and associated areas (including playground) meet all licensing, safety, and health requirements.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,running,and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
