Job summary

Becks Montessori Accelerated Learning Center in Eagan, MN is seeking a Lead Teacher to join a family-oriented school. You will be responsible for the safety and well-being of students and for developing and implementing an educational environment aligned with American Montessori Society standards and center policies.

The ideal candidate has lead teacher experience in licensed settings, MN ECE Lead qualification (CDA or higher), and Montessori experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Lead teacher experience in a licensed classroom setting is required.
• ECE Lead qualification per MN state standards (CDA or higher education) is required.
• Montessori experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Develop and implement the educational environment and curriculum aligned with AIS/AMS standards and center policies.
• Manage learning experiences to meet group and individual needs.
• Foster positive relationships with children and families and communicate student progress to parents.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill physical requirements of the role.

Becks Montessori Accelerated Learning Centerin Eagan is aMontessori school seeking Lead Teachers!

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require previous lead teacher experience in a licensed classroom setting, ECE Lead qualified through MN state standards (CDA or higher education in early childhood). Montessori experience preferred.

Required Shift:Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Compensation: $18-20/hr.based on education and experience

MainJob Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safety and well-being of students all times.
• Carries the primary responsibility for the development and implementation of the educational environment and curriculum consistent with American Montessori Society standards and center policies and procedures.
• Manages the learning experiences for students to ensure the needs of the group and individual students are met.
• Develops positive relationships withchildren andfamilies encouraging bonding to the class and the larger school community, communicates child’s development based on the individualized tracking of student progress and when necessary, communicate developmental needs to parentswhich may include strategies, intervention, or support from outside specialists. Maintains regular verbal and written communication with parents.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
