Job summary

GoJet Airlines, LLC is seeking an Assistant Chief Pilot to oversee safety and regulatory compliance across flight operations from the Bridgeton facility. The role requires ATPL with appropriate ratings and a strong background in aviation safety and SMS management.

The Assistant Chief Pilot supports the Chief Pilot, updates regulatory materials, and ensures crew adherence to weight/balance and customer service standards, while maintaining current industry knowledge and ongoing CQ training.

Qualifications

• Must hold an airline transport pilot certificate with ratings for at least one GoJet aircraft.
• Deep knowledge of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
• Broad understanding of 14 CFR and the certificate holder's operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security are the primary considerations in aircraft operations and promote SMS as a core value.
• Perform SMS facilitator duties and apply risk management when new systems, revisions, or procedures are introduced.
• Ensure all flight operations comply with 14 CFR, TSRs, and company policies.
• Maintain regulatory materials and disseminate information to crewmembers.
• Assist Chief Pilot in weight/balance program adherence for revenue flights and communicate customer needs.
• Ensure timely management of tasks in the Q-Pulse database per 14 CFR Part 5 and SMSF.
